Our client was competing in a crowded field of mobile notaries, who are often chosen by bankers to make sure all the closing documents are prepared correctly and professionally.
After developing the name, The Next Wave developed a set of options for the new brand. The client was immediately drawn to this mark, which drew from the classic notary stamp design- with a modern twist.
Printing it on suede cards with a copper foil set Good Karma Notary well apart from the competition.
When we were first approached by the client, he’d been shopping agencies. One of them said “we wouldn’t change the logo”- and we even agreed we could live with it.
But, after working with the old logo, we knew we could improve it. We did a comp. Took a deep breath, and presented it.
The moment we showed the update to the client, he loved it. Not only does this version reproduce and read better, it takes up less space to say the same thing. That’s what a logo should do- clearly and concisely communicate the brand.
We also decided that saying “park” and “parking” in the logo was too much. “Fast. Safe. Easy.” does the descriptive job much better.
Long brand names make some things more difficult than they have to be. The full name is “Rambo’s Above and Beyond Plumbing, Heating and Air”- never one to shy away from big name challenges, we made a mark that can’t be missed- especially plastered 5 feet tall on the side of the truck.
