Sure you can get a degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, psychology, English or any of the other disciplines taught at colleges and universities, however, there are some schools out there that say “We teach advertising” or “design” or “branding” and are pretty well known as the powerhouses.
Some offer Associates degrees, some offer bachelors, a few have a masters program, and then there are certificate schools/portfolio schools. Some of them serve as farm teams for the big agency holding groups, some just take your money.
