Claimed to be a “comprehensive directory of leading companies and organizations in the Dayton area” it only has 12 ad agencies listed.
Of course, they also have a party you can attend for being included- at $50 a head.

So if you are looking for a “comprehensive list of leading ad agencies in the Dayton Area- you’ve come to the right place. Not only is our list more complete and up-to-date, it has interactive links to the agencies so you can take a peek at the competition.
I need to move away from Dayton before this so-called Book of Lists by the Dayton Business Journal adds a category for photographers, because sure as the sun is going to shine you won’t see Jim Crotty or Picture Ohio listed.
Anyhoo, kudos to the new editor of the Business Section of the DDN. At least she is making a concerted effort at reaching out to all business owners in the community, and encouraging owners to submit news and information as well as offering an online listing service, which I’m hoping will continue to be non-fee based.
Only 12 out of 124? That’s a quandary. I hope this has gotten better over time. I am pretty passionate about Books of Lists across the United States, and work with business publishers to help make them better, more useful, and more profitable. Sounds like the issue here is coverage. For anyone looking for a one stop shop for book of lists across the nation, check out http://www.datajoe.com – you’d be amazed at what markets actually offer a digital book of lists download that you can use for marketing purposes.
Hi Johnny, thanks for coming here and hawking your pay lists. Mine is free.
